The engagement
A clear scope. A useful outcome.
Develop a drone system around a specific job: inspection, sensing, survey or a custom payload. We connect airframe and avionics work with embedded software, onboard processing and ground applications. The engagement begins with payload, endurance and operating constraints, then progresses through integration and an agreed test programme. Operational and approval requirements are reviewed with the appropriate specialists for your intended use.
Capabilities
Airframe and propulsion design
Configuration, structure and propulsion sizing driven by the payload and the endurance target, with mass budget, motor and propeller matching and thermal behaviour all validated on a thrust stand before the first flight.
Flight control and avionics
Controller selection or custom avionics, sensor redundancy, power architecture and failsafe behaviour — what the aircraft does when a link, a motor or a sensor stops is decided deliberately and then demonstrated in flight.
Autonomy and onboard perception
Vision and depth processing for obstacle avoidance, precision landing and target tracking, sized to run inside the compute and power budget the aircraft actually carries, not to demonstrate well on a workstation.
Ground station and fleet software
Mission planning, live telemetry, video routing, log analysis and fleet state, with an operator interface designed for someone standing outdoors in poor weather wearing gloves, not for a conference stand. Flight logs replay afterwards for analysis.
Airworthiness and operational approval
Design and operational evidence assembled for the category you intend to fly in, including SORA risk assessment, procedures, maintenance schedule and the pilot documentation a national authority expects to see in the file.

A practical starting point
Start with the question
you need to answer.
Bring an idea, an existing product or a technical constraint. We’ll discuss the scope, dependencies and right first milestone before planning the build.

Frequently asked questions
Can you integrate a payload onto an existing drone?
Yes. We review power, mass, balance, mechanical mounting, vibration and data interfaces before proposing the integration. The test plan then checks how the payload changes the system’s behaviour. Access to the platform documentation and software determines the scope we can take on.
Do you develop ground applications as well as onboard systems?
Ground applications, telemetry interfaces and mission workflows can be included. We define the operator tasks and the data that must move between the vehicle and the ground system, then agree on the interfaces, recording needs and recovery behaviour.
How do you approach autonomy development?
We begin with a bounded task and an operating environment, then define the available sensors, compute and supervision. Simulation or recorded data can establish an initial baseline before controlled testing. The scope includes failure detection and the conditions in which an operator must take over.
Can you help prepare for operational approval?
We can contribute technical documentation, test evidence and coordination with appropriate aviation specialists. The applicable route depends on the aircraft, location and intended operation. Approval decisions remain with the relevant authority and are a separate dependency in the programme.
Let’s make it happen
